His interest was initially sparked by his close relationship with his grandmother and his involvement with older individuals in his church back in Michigan. Co-Founder and President

Certified Senior Advisor

Heather Eastman is a dynamic senior living expert who has been passionately committed to supporting older adults and their families for over 17 years. She is a Certified Senior Advisor and holds a Professional Development in Gerontology Certification from Kennesaw State University, as well as a graduate of the University of Georgia. Her diverse career has covered multiple disciplines– sales and marketing in CCRC/Lifeplan community, community relations director for Assisted living and Memory care, social and supportive services, care transition liaison, care management for home health, palliative and hospice care, family coaching and counseling, dementia training for care teams, and companion caregiving. Originally from Maine, she learned to love and respect older adults at a young age when her father, who was a local physician, would take her to the nursing home to cheer up patients on his rotation of house calls. This exposure had a lasting impression on her desire to promote healthy and active aging, and how to be a fierce advocate for person-centered care, comfort, dignity, and meaningful engagement at every chapter in a senior’s life.

Heather’s passion for seniors is palpable and she believes quality of life is ageless. She guides older adults and their families with compassion, empathetic listening and creative problem solving approaches, especially when it’s time to consider a significant move from home to a community setting. She deeply understands the complex and stressful emotions families face during this time, yet guides the process with encouragement and knowledge. Resident safety, meaningful connections, holistic wellness and a sense of purpose is critical in her mind for successful transitions, and she is skilled and capable in assisting families with finding the setting that is just right for them. She encourages autonomy, preserving independence and maintaining personal empowerment for the clients she serves.

Heather resides in Davidson, NC with her partner and four legged besties; Tillie and Turtle. In her free time she enjoys family gatherings and creative pursuits; painting, home decorating, thrifting, live music and great food. A walk in nature is also her Rx for just about any ailment!
